Intel­liSOFT is a Kenyan soft­ware devel­op­ment com­pa­ny with over 12 years’ expe­ri­ence design­ing, devel­op­ing, and imple­ment­ing health infor­ma­tion sys­tems in Africa. As a smart tech­nol­o­gy devel­op­ment firm, we are com­mit­ted to main­tain­ing local­ly sus­tain­able dig­i­tal health solu­tions, par­tic­u­lar­ly for Low to Mid­dle Income Coun­tries (LMICs). We are on a mis­sion to improve and trans­form peo­ple’s lives, health, and well-being through the mean­ing­ful use of tech­nol­o­gy by devel­op­ing world-class dig­i­tal health inno­va­tions and through these solu­tions, health­care providers in LMICs can improve the qual­i­ty of patient care. What do we do?
We are a lead­ing provider of Health Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems (HIS) in Africa, with a focus on Low to Mid­dle Income Coun­tries (LMICs), with a proven track record of design­ing, devel­op­ing, and imple­ment­ing inno­v­a­tive dig­i­tal health solu­tions that have improved patient care and health­care ser­vice deliv­ery.
We col­lab­o­rate with our clients to sup­port the real­iza­tion and opti­miza­tion of their busi­ness per­for­mance and pro­duc­tiv­i­ty. This is done through devel­op­ment, imple­men­ta­tion and sup­port­ing mean­ing­ful use of infor­ma­tion, com­mu­ni­ca­tion and tech­nol­o­gy agnos­tic, web-opti­mized soft­ware par­tic­u­lar­ly for low resourced envi­ron­ments.

Our Solu­tions
Our expe­ri­ence spans a wide range of health­care set­tings, includ­ing gov­ern­ment facil­i­ties and com­mu­ni­ty-based projects. Our solu­tions include Elec­tron­ic Med­ical Record (EMR) sys­tems, Health Research Sys­tems, and Health Man­age­ment Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems (HMIS) designed to improve patient care by facil­i­tat­ing accu­rate and com­pre­hen­sive health records. These sys­tems have been deployed in var­i­ous health­care set­tings, enabling health­care providers to col­lect, man­age, and ana­lyze health data for improved deci­sion-mak­ing.

Our Achieve­ments
At Intel­liSOFT, we take pride in our achieve­ments. These include the two apps we devel­oped, NNDAK and PvERS, being rec­og­nized as Dig­i­tal Pub­lic Goods by the Dig­i­tal Pub­lic Goods Alliance. This recog­ni­tion means that our prod­ucts meet inter­na­tion­al stan­dards and improve health out­comes while mak­ing work eas­i­er for health­care pro­fes­sion­als.

Addi­tion­al­ly, we were among four Africa-based dig­i­tal health entre­pre­neurs list­ed by PATH build­ing tools to sup­port com­mu­ni­ty health work­ers. The orga­ni­za­tions were award­ed fund­ing to expand these tools for com­mu­ni­ty health. The award is part of the Dig­i­tal Health Ecosys­tem (DHE) project, fund­ed by the Bay­er Foun­da­tion and designed to spur dig­i­tal health entre­pre­neur­ship in LMICs. In 2021, Intel­liSOFT was also rec­og­nized as a Gold-Lev­el Endors­er for the Prin­ci­ples for Dig­i­tal Devel­op­ment due to our advo­ca­cy and part­ner­ship to make the Dig­i­tal Prin­ci­ples come to life. We use the dig­i­tal prin­ci­ples in our projects, and this recog­ni­tion rein­forces our com­mit­ment to deliv­er­ing sus­tain­able dig­i­tal health solu­tions to LMICs.
