Steven Wanyee Macharia
Founder & CEOProvides overall technical leadership and guidance for all our work in the health sector right from conceptualization, development, implementation, use, support, and maintenance of digital health solutions. He is a Biomedical Informatics Specialist by profession, and added to his wealth of training, work experience and an exceptional grasp of the local and international health sectors, Steven also doubles as the lead liaison with health sector-based clients and partners.
He has initiated all our health-related work either through developing proposals in response to calls for Proposals, the establishment of long term partnerships, and continuously develops opportunities for IntelliSOFT primarily in the human and animal health sector.
Steven has graduate-level education and training in software engineering and biomedical informatics. He also possesses multiple HIS certifications including HL7. He is currently a medical informatics Ph.D. student.
Steven is a core Founder and current Secretary General of the Kenya Health Informatics Association(KeHIA), current Secretary of the Health Informatics In Africa (HELINA), and currently sits on the Board Of Directors of the OpenMRS Community as the Community Representative.
Steven is responsible for all the research, innovation, and development activities of the company.
