Steven Wanyee Macharia
Founder & CEO

Pro­vides over­all tech­ni­cal lead­er­ship and guid­ance for all our work in the health sec­tor right from con­cep­tu­al­iza­tion, devel­op­ment, imple­men­ta­tion, use, sup­port, and main­te­nance of dig­i­tal health solu­tions.  He is a Bio­med­ical Infor­mat­ics Spe­cial­ist by pro­fes­sion, and added to his wealth of train­ing, work expe­ri­ence and an excep­tion­al grasp of the local and inter­na­tion­al health sec­tors, Steven also dou­bles as the lead liai­son with health sec­tor-based clients and part­ners. 

He has ini­ti­at­ed all our health-relat­ed work either through devel­op­ing pro­pos­als in response to calls for Pro­pos­als, the estab­lish­ment of long term part­ner­ships, and con­tin­u­ous­ly devel­ops oppor­tu­ni­ties for Intel­liSOFT pri­mar­i­ly in the human and ani­mal health sec­tor. 

Steven has grad­u­ate-lev­el edu­ca­tion and train­ing in soft­ware engi­neer­ing and bio­med­ical infor­mat­ics. He also pos­sess­es mul­ti­ple HIS cer­ti­fi­ca­tions includ­ing HL7. He is cur­rent­ly a med­ical infor­mat­ics Ph.D. stu­dent.

Steven is a core Founder and cur­rent Sec­re­tary Gen­er­al of the Kenya Health Infor­mat­ics Association(KeHIA), cur­rent Sec­re­tary of the Health Infor­mat­ics In Africa (HELINA), and cur­rent­ly sits on the Board Of  Direc­tors of the Open­MRS Com­mu­ni­ty as the Com­mu­ni­ty Rep­re­sen­ta­tive.

Steven is respon­si­ble for all the research, inno­va­tion, and devel­op­ment activ­i­ties of the com­pa­ny.

Kenneth Ochieng
Soft­ware Engi­neer­ing Lead

Ken­neth Ochieng is a com­put­er sci­ence grad­u­ate with over 10yrs of work expe­ri­ence in Soft­ware Devel­op­ment & 7yrs in Health Infor­mat­ics sup­port­ing Open Source Health-relat­ed tech­nolo­gies both as a devel­op­er and imple­menter. He is a tin­ker­er who loves to get his hands dirty writ­ing code and plays board games dur­ing his free time.

Christine Gichuki
Tech­ni­cal Project Man­ag­er

Chris­tine is an intel­li­gent, dri­ven, and pas­sion­ate indi­vid­ual who loves the space of dig­i­tal health. She has been in the indus­try for over  7 years. Over the years she has played var­i­ous roles in Open­MRS imple­men­ta­tions and Health Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems in gen­er­al such as tech­ni­cal sup­port, imple­men­ta­tion coor­di­na­tion, capac­i­ty build­ing, qual­i­ty assur­ance and cur­rent­ly she is focus­ing on tech­ni­cal project man­age­ment which pro­vides her a chance to prac­tice all the var­i­ous roles she has been involved in. She is also a key play­er in the Open­MRS com­mu­ni­ty and is cur­rent­ly the Glob­al Open­MRS QA lead and Glob­al Even­t’s Man­ag­er.

David Mukungi
Lead Soft­ware Devel­op­er, Dig­i­tal Health Inter­ven­tions for Health­care Providers

David is a soft­ware engi­neer pas­sion­ate about mak­ing the world a bet­ter place by solv­ing real-world prob­lems using soft­ware appli­ca­tions. He has a bachelor’s degree in com­put­er sci­ence from Keny­at­ta Uni­ver­si­ty.

 

Brian Amolo
Soft­ware Devel­op­er

Bri­an is an excep­tion­al­ly skilled, cre­ative, and depend­able Soft­ware Devel­op­er with great enthu­si­asm and a superb work eth­ic. He is broad­ly and deeply knowl­edge­able in a wide array of com­put­er lan­guages as well as the prin­ci­ples and tech­niques of soft­ware con­struc­tion and main­te­nance. She has spear­head­ed high-impact projects in clin­i­cal deci­sion sup­port, pub­lic health sur­veil­lance, and AI-pow­ered can­cer care, all while cham­pi­oning respon­si­ble, equi­table, and con­text-aware dig­i­tal health solu­tions.

Willie Kimani
Cyber­se­cu­ri­ty Asso­ciate

Willie Kimani is a Secu­ri­ty Engineer/Analyst based in Nairo­bi, Kenya, with exper­tise in vul­ner­a­bil­i­ty assess­ment, pen­e­tra­tion test­ing, inci­dent response, and dig­i­tal foren­sics. Cur­rent­ly serv­ing as a Cyber­se­cu­ri­ty Asso­ciate at Intel­liSOFT, he ana­lyzes net­work threats, con­ducts risk assess­ments, and inte­grates secu­ri­ty into SDLC. Simul­ta­ne­ous­ly, as a Secu­ri­ty Researcher at p3rf3ctr00t, he inves­ti­gates emerg­ing vul­ner­a­bil­i­ties and threat intel­li­gence.

Willie holds a Diplo­ma in Cyber­se­cu­ri­ty and Eth­i­cal Hack­ing (2023–2024) and boasts indus­try cer­ti­fi­ca­tions includ­ing CRTA (Red Team Ana­lyst), C3SA (Secu­ri­ty Ana­lyst), and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Audi­tor.
